Don’t forget that the 8th annual BarCamp Tampa Bay is next Saturday at the USF Muma College of Business. Tickets are FREE, but please register on EventJoy so we know you are joining us.

When is BarCamp Tampa Bay:

October 17th @ 7:30 am – 5:00 pm

  • Check-in & Breakfast opens at 7:30 am
  • Speaker Sign-up starts at 7:45 am
  • Kickoff at 8:45 am
  • Sessions start at 9:00 am
  • Wrap-up Session and Raffle at 5:00 pm in room BSN115
  • After-party starts ~6:00 (@ the new World of Beer on Fowler)

I am the event co-chair again this year and even I don’t know what to expect at BarCamp because the content is entirely driven by the attendees. You will see ~60 technical talks that will cover a very broad range of topics including robotics, SEO, social media, programming, big data, gaming, augmented reality, medtech, edtech, embedded systems, 3D printing, IoT, and so much more.
With expected attendance of over 700 people, BarCamp is by far the biggest and most anticipated true tech gathering in the central Florida region. BarCamp is completely volunteer driven and made possible by the generous support of the following tech & business community sponosors:
