A New Chapter in Tampa Coworking
Coworking in Tampa has a new home and we need your support. Tampa Bay WaVe is outfitting an office in downtown Tampa to help foster the creativity and collaboration of local web and software entrepreneurs. The facility provides office space and shared coworking for startup founders and freelancers (more details to follow). Coworking is a successful grass roots economic development efforts that has helped early-stage ventures start and grow around the globe. Supporting volunteer efforts like WaVE coworking, BarCamp and StartupWeekend help position Tampa Bay as a more startup friendly tech and scientific community.
The SplashBash event on Thursday September 15th is an effort to raise enough money to furnish the space and provide necessary upgrades to WiFi, broadband service, etc. Join us for a rock’n good time & help foster the growth of a thriving tech startup community here in Tampa Bay.

Inaugural Meetup of IxDA Tampa Chapter
Calling all UX fanatics. The newly formed Tampa chapter of the Interaction Design Association will host its kickoff event on August 11th.
Interaction Design (IxD) defines the structure and behavior of interactive systems. Interaction Designers strive to create meaningful relationships between people and the products and services that they use, from computers to mobile devices to appliances and beyond.
